Settings / Preferences
Overview
General Settings centralize your company setup and platform defaults in ianaiERP. From this single administrative workspace, you can configure corporate entities, location profiles, accounting ledger flows, operational unit defaults, and automated shipping carriers. This is also where you manage user profile personalization and team-wide roles and seat authorizations.
Where to Access
All administrative configuration nodes are nested under your personal profile menu in the upper-right corner of the top navigation bar:
Global System Preferences: Top bar ▸ Your Avatar ▸ Settings (accesses horizontal tabs: Company, General, Connections, Shipping, Print, Device, Email, Tax, Shortcut/Barcode).
Personal Theme & Localizations: Top bar ▸ Your Avatar ▸ Profile (controls user profile information, personal display languages, and dashboard styling settings).
Seat & Access Management: Top bar ▸ Your Avatar ▸ User & Permission (manages employee seat rosters, general system invitations, and administrative overrides).

Company ▸ Companies & Locations
Build out your corporate legal framework and manage warehouse storage schemas:
Branding Assumed Documentation: Use Upload Logo and Upload Signature blocks to configure files automatically appended onto outgoing bills, client quotes, and purchase orders.
Companies Registry Table: Tracks metadata values: Name, Country, Currency, and Default Designation.
Locations Registry Table: Tracks operational boundaries: Name, Associated Company, City, Address (Line 1), Bin Tracking (On/Off Switch), and available modifications (Edit/Delete).
Consolidation Utilities: Use Merge Locations to consolidate inventory history or Create a new location to open up expanded facilities.

Connections: Add external app connections via Create a Connection.

Webhooks: Manage system callbacks via Active, Name, Events, URL, Test Mode, and Actions settings, or select Create a Webhook.

API Keys: Generate secure development keys (shown once upon creation) for external API access.

Carriers: Connect third-party shipping providers via Manage Carriers.

Custom Packages: Define standard box types, dimensions, and weight limitations.

Automation: Configure automated rule-based shipment processes via Setup.

International Settings / Notifications: Set preferences for cross-border shipping customs and notification routing.
👤 Profile (Personalization)

User Info: First/Last name, email registration, and access to the Set New Password wizard.

Design Canvas: Personalize your UI color themes (Primary, White, and Black palette choices) and adjust the Border Radius slider.

Display Settings: Toggle Color Mode (Light/Dark themes) and active dashboard Language.

Team Ledger Grid: Monitor operational accounts via Email, First/Last Name, Last Login, Type (Administrator/General User), and Status (Active/Invited).

Add a company/location: Settings ▸ Company ▸ Create a new location… (or company).

Set defaults: Mark a company as Default; toggle Bin Tracking per location if you use bins.

Navigate Settings ▸ General.

Lock in your localization settings by choosing your preferred date/time formats, operational timezone, and units of measure

Map your ledger connections under Default Accounts (Income, Asset, COGS, Expense, Adjustment, Deposit Bank) to drive seamless automatic bookkeeping.

Toggle required advanced operational tracking features (e.g., Lot Tracking, Serial Tracking, or Project Code)

Assign User Default Department/Location parameters to speed up user data entry sheets across other tabs.
Connections, Webhooks and API Credentials

Establish structural linkages with third-party tools within the Connections panel.

Select Create a Webhook to specify listener URLs, map application trigger events, and toggle Test Mode to safely audit live JSON data payloads.

Select API Keys to generate unique access tokens.
⚠️ Important Note: API keys are shown only once upon generation. Copy and save them to a secure password manager immediately.
Shipping Configuration

Settings ▸ Shipping ▸ Manage Carriers to bind external shipping carrier accounts.

Build standardized shipment templates within Custom Packages and complete automated logic mappings using Automation Setup.
Profile & Workspace Customization (theme & language)

Open your personal settings dashboard via Avatar ▸ Profile.

Personalize your theme using the visual Design color blocks and slider settings.

Toggle Color Mode to activate Dark Mode, or use the language picker to refresh local translation frameworks.

Use Set New Password when needed.
User & Permission

Open access rosters via Avatar ▸ User & Permission.

Click Invite a User, submit their corporate email account, and flag their permission tier (Administrator vs. General User).

Audit team usage limits by monitoring Status / Last Login metadata, and adjust overall workspace license levels via Manage Seats.
